School Nurse 1:1 – ESY + Next School Year

BlueCloud Staffing is seeking a compassionate and reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide 1:1 nursing support for an elementary-aged student in the Douglassville, PA area during Extended School Year (ESY) programming, with the opportunity to continue into a full-time position for the 2026-2027 school year if it is a good fit.

Position Overview

This position involves working closely with a student who has medical needs, including:

• Diabetes management
• Autism support
• Seizure monitoring

The nurse will accompany the student on the school bus each day from the student's home to school in Shillington and back home after school. All transportation time is paid.

ESY Schedule

June 15, 2026 - July 30, 2026

• Approximately 5 hours per day
• Bus pickup around 8:15 AM
• Bus drop-off around 1:15 PM
• Monday through Thursday
• Paid transportation time included

Opportunity for Next School Year

If the assignment is a good fit, the position is expected to continue into the regular school year as a full-time role:

• 7.5 hours per day
• 37.5 hours per week
• Bus pickup approximately 7:35 AM
• Bus drop-off approximately 3:10 PM
• Paid transportation time included

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 nursing care throughout the school day.
• Monitor and assist with diabetic care and health-related needs.
• Observe and respond appropriately to seizure activity.
• Support the student's safety and well-being during transportation and at school.
• Communicate effectively with school staff, family members, and healthcare providers as needed.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania LPN License.
• Pediatric, school nursing, or special needs experience preferred.
• Comfortable providing 1:1 care and riding the school bus daily.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Reliable transportation to the student's pickup location.
