We are seeking a compassionate and experienced School Psychologist to support students at an elementary school in Clayton, Georgia, for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will be committed to helping young students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally while collaborating closely with families, teachers, administrators, and other school-based professionals.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and reevaluations.

Administer, score, and interpret cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments.

Prepare clear, thorough evaluation reports and communicate findings to families and school teams.

Participate in eligibility, Individualized Education Program (IEP), Section 504, and student support meetings.
-
Assist with identifying students who may need special education services or additional interventions.
-
Provide consultation and support to teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary team members.

Help develop appropriate academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions.
-
Support crisis prevention and intervention efforts when needed.

Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal requirements.

Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.
Qualifications
-
Master's, specialist, or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.

Current or eligible Georgia certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.

Experience conducting evaluations and working with elementary-aged students is preferred.

Knowledge of special education regulations, evaluation procedures, IEP development, and Section 504 requirements.

Strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Commitment to maintaining student confidentiality and providing culturally responsive services.
