Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative School Psychologist for a full-time, school-based position in Palos Heights, Illinois. This role focuses on supporting students’ academic achievement, social-emotional development, and overall well-being through assessment, consultation, and partnership with school teams.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations

  • Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings

  • Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and families

  • Support the development of behavior intervention plans and MTSS initiatives

  • Assist with crisis intervention and student mental health support as needed

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and district requirements

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Master’s or Doctorate in School Psychology

  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement (or eligibility)

  • School-based experience preferred (new graduates encouraged to apply)

  • Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills
