Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students in an elementary school autistic support classroom in the Hanover, Pennsylvania area. This is a full-time, school-based position working closely with the classroom teacher and support staff to assist students in a 3rd and 4th grade autistic support classroom.

The RBT will provide behavioral support, assist with implementation of behavior plans, and help facilitate a structured, supportive learning environment for students with autism.

 


Key Responsibilities

 

  • Provide behavioral and instructional support to students in a 3rd and 4th grade autistic support classroom

  • Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and strategies under the supervision of a BCBA or school team

  • Assist the classroom teacher with daily classroom operations and routines

  • Support students with behavior regulation, communication, and social skill development

  • Collect and record behavioral data as required

  • Assist with transitions, classroom activities, and structured learning tasks

  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success

 


Qualifications

 

  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required

  • Experience working with students with autism or developmental disabilities preferred

  • Experience in a school or classroom setting is a plus

  • Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills

  • Ability to follow behavior plans and maintain a structured learning environment
